A Season of Courage is a time when we can put our faith into action by trusting in the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord. The Father can use this season to mold us into the likeness of His Son, Jesus, who believed in the Father and courageously trusted in Him to the point of death. Yet we know that was not the end of the story. Fully God and fully man, Jesus rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. He intercedes on your behalf to the Father and He is working for you. The reminders of a Season of Courage point us back to the One who goes before us and makes a way when we have faith in Him.

We can look to Joshua as an example for a Season of Courage. After wandering the desert for 40 years under the faithful guidance of Moses, Joshua had the impossibly large task of leading the new nation of Israel into the Promise Land which at that time was still filled with enemy tribes and unknown challenges. Yet we know what is impossible for man is possible with God Almighty! The promises the Lord shares with Joshua are the same promises we can lean on today - that He will be with us, He will not fail us or forsake us.
